Tuna-Pasta Bake
"Improper cooking times for dense ingredients, boiling things that should be roasted, and an unsafe reliance on undercooking or overcrowding pans." This bake is a full tin of tuna, a full tin of condensed soup, and 400g of pasta, together, in one dish, no baking time specified.
Ingredients
- 400g penne pasta
- 425g can tuna in spring water
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 420g can condensed cream of celery soup
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Cook the pasta 2 minutes short of the packet directions, then drain.
- Add the tuna and half the cheese, and season with cracked pepper.
- Stir in the soup.
- Pour the mixture into a small baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
No baking time is given for the final bake — the recipe just ends here. We'd suggest 20 minutes at 180°C until golden, but honestly, at this point, who's counting.
